I'm not gonna claim that most of this house is especially organized, but I have a system for the linen closet that's working pretty well for us. In other words, towels no longer fall out when you open the door, and I can usually find a Band-Aid.
Oh, look -- there they are! We don't have medicine cabinets in any of our bathrooms, so all of our medicines go on this lazy susan, high above where the kids can reach. Larger items like nail polish remover and sunscreen go in the basket. The candle is there to make everything smell nice...and because if I have pretty things around, I'm less likely to leave a mess there.
I discovered towels stay put much easier when they're rolled, rather than folded. You can grab one without upsetting the whole pile.
I'm a terrible folder. I hate folding sheets. Especially the fitted ones that everyone claims to have a good way of folding but no one really does. So I roll them as well, and hide them in baskets.
The labels are gift tags from Michaels.
You'd be amazed at how much a clean closet can cheer you up. Seriously.

I agree! Well done, thanks for the ideas. I'm going to use them. I like the logic of the candle, brilliant.

Great job! Towels not falling out when you open the door is better than we have it. :-) I'm really impressed how organized that closet it! Thanks so much for sharing this at The CSI Project!
